  20.         I personally think your right to some degree, however I think
  21. your asking to much to ask people to take the time to quote sources.
  22. I have been on the Inet for only about a year now and I have found
  23. more usefull info on here than I have found anywere else. Mainly
  24. because most of the people you talk to on the net are just like you
  25. and I. They are not paid to say what they say. I find that a very
  26. vaulable commoditity in todays world.
  27.         Even the magizines that we probably all enjoy and love will
  28. publish reviews on products that 'stack the deck'. Thus I have went
  29. out and bought products according to the reviews of a magizine only to
  30. latter find that I hated the product and felt like I was missled by
  31. the articals. On the net I hear many peoples opinion on the product
  32. alowing me to make a much better decisition on it before I buy. My
  33. point being, that hearing the concenous veiw that you get on the list
  34. is a self correcting thing. If many people say it is OKay then it
  35. probably is. I find that most people just don't ask very specific
  36. questions in the first place and therefore don't get very specific
  37. answers to their questions. I also think that anyone who does not
  38. test someone elses opinion in the first place is being a little
  39. foolish and probably needs to be burned once or twice. Is this not
  40. what the idea of trust is based on? You test someones opinion to see
  41. if they are correct, and if they are you trust them to be correct the
  42. next time. Of course one is correct all the time. Sometimes our
  43. mistakes are even intentional.  Are any of us nieve enough to think
  44. that any opinion that is posted on the net is fact? Surely not.  Plus
  45. with instruction manuals being what they are now days I find the net
  46. an invaluable source of tutorals and how to's simply for the asking
  47. (liturally).

  49.         With all this in mind I can however certainly agree with you
  50. that there are some things that are not apropreate for the list.  Such
  51. as flaming, etc...  I am however willing to wade through a certain
  52. amount of that to get to the good stuff.
